Over the past couple of years (yes it's coming up to 3 years in October) I have watched our old Myrtle tree with great interest. This year without doubt has been it's best yet. During Summer it threw out the most most beautiful flowers around Christmas time but it has been the Autumn-Winter change that has really brought it to life. The leaf change of colour has been spectacular, I don't mind the mess either.
