She totally out did herself here, one of many platters that were consumed over the break. Funnily enough it seems all the kids now have the cheese palate genes.

When photos can be priceless, this year seen an impromptu bonfire along with a “middle of the night” opening Christmas presents session. Whilst unscripted (alcohol does that) it ended up being a great memorable night all the same.

And just like that, another year closes off and into the next one the “Year of The Pig”. Though it was a relatively quiet Christmas break at the farm this year, the highlight was getting to spend so much quality time with the kids and their respective partners. I also cannot believe I am writing a Month after the fact, a lot of catching up to do. We seem to be getting better and better at this traditional dinner menu stuff.

The two latest addictions to the chicken flock are actually Roosters, yep another 101 fark up! - The last time we get chickens from the local markets. So all has been agreed that they will become a New Years Day feast, with homage paid to them both.....watch this space
